Motorised Rescue Sled - Suitable for Flood Rescue

 Motorised Rescue Sled

The Motorised Rescue Sled is a powered rescue craft for use in emergency crisis rescues, i.e. flood rescue, that occur in lakes, inland waterways, flooded urban and coastal areas, and rivers.

Combining the versatility and functionality of an inflatable rescue sled with the ease and speed of rescue from a powered rescue boat, the Motorised Rescue Sled offers the perfect solution for water rescue requirements.

The Motorised Rescue Sled has a flat bottom and shallow draft, making it suitable for use in shallow waters from approximately 40cm deep. Weighing only around half that of an equivalent boat, the Motorised Rescue Sled is easy to transport, highly manoeuvrable, and only requires a small outboard motor.

The Motorised Rescue Sled is available in two standard sizes; 10 and 15 man. For mass emergency evacuation or flood rescue sleds can be linked together, or a second sled can be towed behind the Motorised Rescue Sled whilst still maintaining good performance and speed. To assist with boarding, the Motorised Rescue Sled has integral steps at the stern. The flat floor of the rescue craft offers a comfortable and stable rescue platform for passengers, and the inflatable sides give them a reassuring support to lean on.
