Plugs for Blocking, Testing & DischargingPlugs are indispensable in the construction of sewerage systems, water and other pipelines and are used for blocking, discharging and testing. These Plugs are especially useful in testing the tightness of canals or pipelines. The Plugs are also useful for the rapid prevention of leaks from damaged pipelines and preventing substances from entering sewerage and drainage systems.
All types of plugs (blocking, discharging and testing) are manufactured in four standard dimensions for use in pipes with a diameter ranging from 10 to 100 cm. Three types of plug are designed in the form of a hollow cylinder, while the fourth is bandage shaped. The plugs are practical, robust and have a long service life, as they are resistant to most chemicals and oxidation and may be used at temperatures ranging from -30 to +70°C. The design of our plugs allows them to be inflated with compressed air from a cylinder, compressor, truck compressor or by means of a hand or foot pump. | Plugs - Technical Data | | Type > | Testing Plugs | Discharging Plugs | Blocking Plug | | Model > | T500 - 1000 | T400 - 500 | T200 - 500 | T100 - 200 | P500 - 1000 | P400 - 500 | P200 - 500 | P100 - 200 | Z500 - 1000 | Z400 - 500 | Z200 - 500 | Z100 - 200 | | plug diameter (cm) | 44 | 29.5 | 19.5 | 9.5 | 44 | 29.5 | 19.5 | 9.5 | 44 | 29.5 | 19.5 | 9.5 | | diameter of insertion (min/max) (cm) | 50/100 | 30/50 | 20/40 | 10/20 | 50/100 | 30/50 | 20/40 | 10/20 | 50/100 | 30/50 | 20/40 | 10/20 | | length of plug total (cm) | 60 | 69 | 69 | 62.5 | 60 | 64 | 64 | 62.5 | 60 | 56 | 56 | 56 | | length of rubber part (cm) | 60 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 60 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 60 | 50 | 50 | 50 | | volume minimum (cm) | 0 | 30 | 13 | 2.5 | 0 | 30 | 30 | 2.5 | 0 | 30 | 13 | 2.5 | | volume maximum (litres) | 130 | 70 | 44 | 12 | 130 | 70 | 44 | 12 | 130 | 70 | 44 | 12 | | weight (kg) | 28 | 11.0 | 9.2 | 2.8 | 27 | 9.0 | 7.2 | 2.6 | 27 | 5.9 | 4.5 | 1.5 | | applied pressure maximum (bar) | 1.5 | 1.5 | 1.5 | 1.5 | 1.5 | 1.5 | 1.5 | 1.5 | 1.5 | 1.5 | 1.5 | 1.5 | | testing pressure (bar) | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | | | inflation pressure (sek) | 80 |
