The Survivability Solution Awards, held on Wednesday 13th October 2010, were created to acknowledge specific products, services or solutions that have enhanced the safety and security of service personnel operating across the globe. The Awards were selected from an independent panel of world leading survivability experts, chaired by Rear Admiral Christopher Parry, Former Director General, Development, Concepts and Doctrine, UK.

The awards attracted a high calibre of entrants and with over 300 senior level military and industry personnel in attendance, the awards ceremony enabled companies' to raise their profile within the defence community. Whether it was in its conceptual stage, in production or already fielded, companies that had produced a product, service or solution that they believed could or had made a real difference to service personnel entered for their respective award.
